JOB TITLE: Logistics Specialist
SUMMARY:
Responsible for inventory management to ensure no discrepancy between system and physical. Also on day to day domestic and export logistics operations, developing and maintaining carrier delivery metrics and freight reporting to measure carrier service performance and monthly efreight spend.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and DHL systems are required for domestic and International shipments as well as LTL & FTL carriers.
- The role requires planning skills to work across functional teams to set up logistics and ensure flawless execution to customers.
- Have good knowledge of retail and distribution requirements to meet both Optoma and customer needs and to continue driving improvements to the current model.
- Ability to manage, understand and set goals for 3PL partners to improve existing business model efficiencies, increase output and reduce cost.
- The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel and Word, in order to create pivot tables, graphs and summary reports.
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Customer service experience (not required but would be a plus).

Accounting Assistant responsibilities include entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. 82nd Street Academics seeks instructors for our Pre-School Program in Queens, NY. The goal of our program is to provide the academic and social support needed to help students develop the skills required to successfully lay a foundation for a college education.
Time:Monday- Friday 7:30AM-4:15PM for UPK.
Rate of Pay: $15.25 an hour depending on previous experience and related education.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide leadership on a day to day basis for a class of 15 preschool students. Instructors are representatives of our agency in the school and are responsible for maintaining the culture of the school.
- Support implementation of lesson plans. Much of our planning is based on Common Core Learning Standards and takes place in exploration of learning centers!
- Monitoring and keeping a clean space and safe at all times.
- Following the schedule provided and working closely with the lead teacher.
- Communicate with parents when there is a concern that must be resolved. Provide excellent customer service and a professional, caring demeanor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Study plan towards college graduation, HS diploma minimum. College credits required.
- Prior experience working with the Early Childhood students.
- Commitment to the program through the end of June 2020, a non-negotiable requirement
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin is a requirement.
