Since 2008, Kenvic has helped Chinese people across the U.S pass their Customs Broker exams. We offer lectures from senior U.S Customs Brokers with rich experience in tutoring, as well as classes in both Chinese and English.
Industry Information
As part of their occupation, a customs broker will assist importers and exporters in meeting federal regulations. Brokers must be familiar with entry procedures, admissibility requirements, classification, valuation, and the rates of duty and applicable taxes and fees for imported merchandise.
To become a Customs Broker, you must be a U.S citizen that is at least 21 years old, not be a current federal employee, and have a license.
To obtain a license, you must first pass the customs broker examination, and then apply for the license.
The average salary for customs brokers in New York range from 53k to 71k annually.
There are approximately 14,454 active licensed Customs brokers in the United States.

The 80/20 rule applies to the customs exam as well, with the 80% of the questions coming from 20% of the exam content.

Teaching Materials
The textbooks used in Kenvic’s classes are officially designated by U.S. Customs as the required books for the exams, and are updated every year. When buying course materials independently, please note that book versions are updated every year, and that exam requirements vary from year to year.

Students regularly participate in weekly web video conferences, teachers targeted teaching, there are questions on the spot to ask

After class, read books and do problems according to the teacher’s instructions.
Class Schedule
Students will participate in weekly online classes.
Provided materials in English with explanations in both Chinese and English
We will have a total of 16 sessions, 3 hours/session, 1 session per week
Classes take place every Saturday afternoon from 4pm – 7pm EST.

Participants come from customs brokers such as Expeditors, trading companies such as Macys and logistics companies such as UPS.
