- Applicant’s Name
- Applicant’s Address
- Date of Examination
- Location of Examination
- Specific Questions Being Appealed
2. Included copy of letter from CBP providing applicant’s score.
3. Included copy of applicants answer sheet.
4. Included the following information at the top of each page.
- Applicant’s Name
- Examination Site
- Examination Date
- Question Appealed
5. Used a separate page or pages to address each question.
Different questions cannot be argued on the same page, start a new page for each question.
6. Contains compelling argument why applicant’s answer is better than the official answer or why the question has no possible correct answer.
7. When applicable, provided references to information found in the CBP Regulations, HTSUS or other CBP resources to support arguments.
8. Reviewed for correct spelling and grammar.
9. Filed 60 days from date of the letter notifying the applicant of his or her score.
10. Submitted to the correct address.
